Hospital Bag

Baby Currie's going-to-the-hospital bag is almost complete. Some mommy stuff was purchased on Saturday and her 2
go-home-outfits were also purchased. One is pretty covering, in case she gets
all cracked up coming out and one is more summery. Hopefully she'll have a nice warm glow and a lot of hair, but you never know.

Classes

Birthing classes are over. The only class left now if Breast Feeding class. I'm constantly amazed at how many folks are pregnant. I got another email from a high school friend who said he was expecting in September. I really should have gone to school to be an OBGYN but, you know, that's just a whole lot of math and science that I probably don't have the patience for.

Shower

Baby Currie's second shower on Saturday was a great success. She was blessed with many more presents/necessities. Thanks to all who attended and brought their love in the form of presents. A special thanks to Ame and Christine for hosting the shower. :-)

Day Care

Baby Currie got in the daycare we prefer. I don't know how it works in your town but here it's a lottery/waiting list/first-come-first-served situation since the supply of babies is great and the demand for excellent daycare is even greater. But -- after arriving to get in line at 4:30 a.m. for the 7:00 start -- the deed is done and she'll be in a shy, five-star daycare.
